WHAT IS NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?

START YOUR PATH TO WELLNESS

There is no cookie cutter plan as every human being is dealing with a unique combination of specifics in their life.

Intero wellness will serve you to find balance in your life through understanding the connection between NUTRITION, MOVEMENT, SLEEP, STRESS MANAGEMENT and your ENVIRONMENT. I aim to help you reach your personal wellness goals and live your life to its fullest through nutritional therapy.

THE PROCESS...

1. Discovery Call

You can ask questions about the process and we can find out if we are a good match to work together on your journey to wellness through nutritional therapy.

2. Nutri-Q

I will set you up on the Nutri-Q website, a platform where you can fill out several online questionnaire's to give me, as your practitioner, a window into what you are dealing with and what your goals are for our consultation.

3. Nutritional Assessment Questionaire

Once set up on the website, I will outline your symptoms and generate a severity report so we can narrow in on which foundations of nutrition are most important to start with. These categories include:

- Upper Gastrointestinal

- Liver and gallbladder function

- Small Intestine

- Large Intestine

- Minerals

- Fatty Acid
- Sugar Handling

- Vitamin Need

- Adrenal function

- Pituitary function

- Thyroid function

- Reproductive function

- Cardiovascular function

- Kidney & Bladder function

- Immune System

4. Food & Mood Journal

You are encouraged to complete a food and mood journal covering at least 3-4 days, including one weekend day. This is an important resource to tell me exactly what you are fueling your body with and the resulting effects.

5. Initial Interview

After I review your submitted information, we will set up an initial interview where I will ask you some more questions to customize my recommendations to your needs. This is where we will do muscle testing if requested.

6. Nutrition and Wellness Plan

I will then create for you a customized nutrition and wellness plan covering the areas related to your personal health and wellness goals that will target the appropriate foundations of nutrition.

7. Additional Functional Tests

Additional testing can be ordered to further explore your specific concerns. This may include the following:

- Bloodwork panels

- GI map

- DNA testing

- Hormone panels

- Organic acid test

- Food sensitivity testing

- Others upon request...

Nutritional Therapy uses the foundations of nutrition to create a bio-individual plan designed just for you.  It encourages nutrient-dense, real food, healthy lifestyle choices, culinary knowledge and understanding how social and personal components influence your life. I also use muscle testing to be more specific with nutritional recommendations.

FOUNDATIONS OF NUTRITION

The foundations of nutrition are the building blocks of health. These include first and foremost a whole foods, nutrient dense diet. We will also look at proper digestion, blood sugar regulation, fatty acids (healthy fats) in your diet, minerals and proper hydration each day.

Foundations of Nutrition

TOXIC BURDEN

A foundation of good nutrition would be incomplete without assessing how the toxicities of your environment may be affecting you.

Toxins to consider include the following:
- Source of drinking water
- Radiation
- Electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) from cellphones, computers,  5G, WIFI etc.
- Parasites
- Mold
- Heavy metals
- Overgrowth like candida (yeast)
- Presence of glyphosate in your food (round up)
