What can a nutritional therapy practitioner do for me?As a nutritional therapy practitioner, I will assess your health through looking at the foundations of nutrition. These include a whole foods, nutrient dense diet, regulated blood sugar, adequate fatty acids or healthy fat in your diet, mineral balance, adequate hydration, stress, sleep and other environmental factors like personal care products, air quality and use of electronics that generate electromagnetic frequencies (EMF's) like screen use. All of these things play into your overall health and wellness with the added layer of movement. I want to emphasize the word "movement" over "exercise" or "workout", as movement is foundational to wellness. Movement patterns and/ or postures are what need to be addressed first. After going through your intake forms, I will have a plan for us to review and modify with your input, in order to meet your personal goals for wellness. The ideal therapeutic time for measuring changes in your health is 3 months minimum. This allows time to assess a response to your plan and to make new changes as needed. The body did not get to this point overnight. Therefore, overnight changes are not realistic. You will, however, begin to see immediate changes in some areas with consistency in your program.

What if I am not ready to commit to a package?Schedule a free 15 minute discovery call to ask your questions and see if we are a right fit to work together. I also offer individual sessions for nutritional therapy at a rate for 90 minutes initial interview and a rate for 60 minute follow ups. I recommend measuring change in nutrition status over at least 3 months as the body must be given time to respond. Single sessions or packages are also available for therapeutic Pilates in office using a reformer or mat level virtually from the comfort of your own home. Other services include sessions for breathing assessment followed by breath work coaching.

How much does nutritional therapy cost?I offer packages and individual sessions but I encourage clients to stick to working with me guiding them for at least 3 months to allow a therapeutic response to be measured over time. This gives you time to apply changes to your life. It can be overwhelming to unfold everything at one time when you are accustomed to doing things a specific way. Steady change is the best strategy to allow for lasting results. Contact me to discuss discounts that may apply to you for single sessions or packages. Amanda@interowellness.com

What is muscle testing?Muscle testing is also known as applied kinesiology. It can be done hands on in person or remotely. The reason this is is possible is based on how we are wired as humans from the time you were in utero with reflexes of your nervous system. We will establish what a muscle "lock" and "unlock" is to get a "yes" or "no" for specific questions to your health. This "yes" and "no" system can be used to evaluate organ function, establish nutrition plans and address toxic burden in the body with a frequency and dosing for supplements. This is not creating a diagnosis. It is an excellent tool in conjunction with your intake forms, assessment questions and any labs we order.
